Product Description:
FCHW (Feline Heartworm) is a parasite known as the feline heartworm (Dirofilaria immitis). This parasite primarily parasitizes the heart, pulmonary arteries and their branches in cats and is transmitted by mosquito bites. Cats infected with heartworm may show signs of tinnitus, weak pulse, intermittent or heart murmur, weight loss and loss of appetite.
The DOVT Feline Heartworm Antigen Test is a lateral flow immunoassay for the qualitative detection of feline heartworm (FHW)-specific antigens in whole blood, serum or plasma samples. The test can be used to identify FHW infection and is an important tool for veterinarians in the diagnosis of feline heartworm disease.
Applications:
The easy-to-understand design allows users to complete the testing process without specialized training. Results are available in less than 8 minutes and are intuitively clear. A simple color change or indicator line will determine if your cat is infected with FCHW, making it easy to take quick action.
In addition, the product has a shelf life of 24 months and can be stored at (2-30°C) without special storage conditions, making it convenient for home use and long-term storage. It ensures accurate and reliable testing and is commonly used in pet hospitals and clinics, pet owners' homes, pet boarding centers, etc. All reagents are rigorously screened and tested to ensure that they are safe and harmless to cats and operators, giving you peace of mind when caring for your cat.
